Inceptive is a privately-owned Development, Design and Construction firm located in Dallas/Fort Worth. Our firm focuses on projects up to $5 million dollars and includes elegant custom homes, tenant finish out, churches, health care, multifamily and retail. Our investment strategy is centered around a core vision for niche investment opportunities with potential for significant capital appreciation through land entitlement, development/re-development.

We offer architectural design services which we strive to earn the business of our clients that results in our earning the construction of the project as well. Our vision is to create dynamic residential, multifamily, and mixed-use developments that provide positive impacts to neighborhoods we serve.

Inceptive’s services when fully utilized carry your project from a vision to reality through a seamless process. We have strategic partners that may assist project owners with land acquisition which we work with side by side through a site selection process. Our services also include the development of a finance package for presentation to your lender or shared with our own strategic investor partner who can assist with projects.

Craig A. Edwards

President

Mr. Edwards has been in the construction/real estate industry for over 20 years.  He has a strong financial background in the industry and holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University.  For 11 years he owned and operated a custom home/land development company and built homes.

Home prices ranged from $250k to over $1 million with residential land development project sizes from 10 to 100 home sites per project.   His career includes serving in several roles as a financial manager that ranged from Accounting Manager to the Chief Financial Officer of a mid-size construction/design firm.

His social responsibility includes starting Texas Strategic Housing, a non-profit, in 2013 to build affordable homes in North Texas, Board member assisting to reorganize the Dallas Urban League and The Moore Foundation for A Careful Mind.
